Abigail Rorer and the Art of Bookmaking.



The bookmaking skills and talents of Petersham artist and engraver Abigail Rorer are now on exhibit in the Library Display Case. Ms. Rorer, a highly regarded wood engraver and book artist, has arranged her tools of the trade including a small press along with descriptive material to explain how she creates her fine, limited edition publications. This Spring, the Library purchased Ms. Rorer's most recent book, "Of Woodland Pools, Spring-holes and Ditches." The publication is available for viewing in the Library.
